Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program. Miss Thomasville or the honorary title of Rose Queen has been celebrated since 1948 and holds a legacy of tradition and grandeur statewide. The annual Rose Show & Festival is a Thomasville tradition a century in the making, and our Miss Thomasville and Miss Thomasville Teen are the reigning queens & ambassadors of those festivities as well as a role model to her peers in this fine city we call home. It is an achievement that speaks to hard work, dedication and a commitment to your community.
A mandatory Miss Thomasville and Miss Thomasville Teen Contestant Meeting has been scheduled for March 30, 2025. This is an informational meeting that will cover all aspects of the program and will answer any questions that contestants and if applicable parent/guardian may have after completing this application.
The competition date is Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at 7:00 pm and will be held at Thomasville Municipal Auditorium. Contestants are required to attend our history tour day June 10, 2025 and all rehearsals June 16-21, 2025.
All Miss contestants are required to pay, or have a sponsor pledge $250 to Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program. All Teen contestants are required to raise $250 in sponsorship funds for the Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program. More details and information regarding sponsorship will be in your packet upon completion of your application. Proceeds from this competition go directly back into scholarships earned through the Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program, a 501C 3 non-profit organization.
*After packet completion, a packet will be emailed to you with additional information no later than March 30, 2025.
*Application deadline is March 21, 2025, and is limited to the first 16 qualified contestants for each age group who have completed and submitted their applications and supporting paperwork.
*Supporting paperwork can be scanned/emailed to [email protected]. Successful submission of all requested documents secures the contestants spot in the program if received no later than March 21, 2025 - if other arrangements need to be made, please contact us.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MISS:
Contestants must be 18 -23. Contestant must be born before January 1, 2008.
Contestants residents must be in Thomasville, Thomas County and/or attend school in Thomasville, Thomas County and be involved in an extracurricular activity in Thomasville/Thomas County (volunteer organization, sport or club - if you have any questions please let us know).
All applicants will be required to sign a contract that commits them to the conduct that is expected while they are affiliated with Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program and the attendance of all mandatory Queen and Court appearances during her potential reign (reign range is one calendar year).
ELIGIBILITY FOR TEEN:
Contestants must be 14 -17. Must be born after January 1, 2008 to compete in the Teen division.
Contestants must reside in and/or attend school in Thomasville, Thomas County or be home schooled in Thomas County and be involved in an extracurricular activity in Thomasville/Thomas County (volunteer organization, sport or club - if you have any questions please let us know).
All applicants will be required to sign a contract that commits them to the conduct that is expected while they are affiliated with Miss Thomasville Scholarship Program and the attendance of all mandatory Queen and Court appearances during her potential reign (reign range is one calendar year).
